Roslind Blasingame-Buford has been appointed president of LINK Unlimited Scholars, which provides economically disadvantaged African- American high school youth with college preparatory opportunities. Blasingame-Buford has more than 15 years of nonprofit experience, including executive director of BUILD.

Warren Chapman has been named Chief Advancement Officer at The Chicago Lighthouse for People Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired. In this position he will manage activities related to analysis, planning, and execution of fundraising/development goals.

Jose Torres has been named president of the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, succeeding Catherine Veal, who served as interim president after Dr. Glenn W. “Max” McGee retired last summer.
