Wonderful article and a great season for this review. The City of Chicago approved at its October 7 Council Meeting a $22 milliion Recovery Grant Program for groups across the city on Green Jobs and Homeowner Counseloring. This will certainly begun Chicago's biggest test on how best to employ people across the city into Green Jobs. Let the work begin to employ and train the African American's within the South and Far South Region. We too are excited about the wave of interest within the Greater Englewood and the Far South Region. From the NEW ERA Trail project in Englewood to the Solar Power Plant in the WEst Pullman Industrial Park, communiites are demonstrating an interest to meet the Future.
