The winner will be announced at a May 8 luncheon.Apr 28The Reporter captured the Chicago Headline Club’s 2008 Watchdog Award for Excellence in Public Interest Reporting for “Missed Signals.” The honor was delivered at the conclusion of the 31st annual Peter Lisagor Awards for Exemplary Journalism on April 25.

The Reporter was also honored with Peter Lisagor Awards for Exemplary Journalism for its “business reporting” and in-depth reporting.
