Methodology (Landing A Green Job)
Posted On: October 30, 2009Originally published as part of the November, 2009 Issue The Chicago Reporter contacted members of the Chicagoland Green Collar Jobs Initiative’s steering committee and partner organizations. In all, the Reporter surveyed 28 organizations in the region that are working in the green economy. The Reporter also analyzed unemployment and racial composition data by community area from the 2000 Census to determine which areas had the highest unemployment levels.
