Case Managers

According to one study, the CHA’s Service Connector program has an adequate number of employees to assist residents with modest needs. But there is a shortage of case managers, who handle families with severe problems.

Notes: The Mid-America Institute on Poverty developed the recommended staffing level based on experience with the CHA’s New Start/New Home program, a similar pilot project. Based on the number of CHA units occupied, not actual numbers of residents.
