Drug Arrestees

African Americans accounted for most of Chicago’s drug arrests, even in majority-Latino or predominantly white police districts.

Notes: “Black” and “white” districts were at least 70 percent black or white. “Latino” districts were at least 50 percent Latino. Of the city’s 25 police districts, seven were “black,” five “Latino” and three “white.”
