During the 15-month period from January 2001 through March 2002, narcotics arrests on public housing properties along State Street were mostly concentrated in the Stateway Gardens and Robert Taylor Homes developments. However, from Nov. 2, 2005, through Aug. 2, 2006, after most of the Stateway and Taylor buildings were demolished, the Harold Ickes Homes and Dearborn Homes developments were the sites of most narcotics activity.
