Chicago hip-hop artists Common and Rhymefest joined forces on Sept. 21 to produce AAHH! Fest, a one-day music festival at Union Park, featuring Twista, MC Lyte, Jay Electronica, special guest Kanye West, and performances by local community members.
The festival began with performances by local artists who showed off their dancing, singing, and rapping skills. Later in the afternoon, Jay Electronica kicked off the headliner portion of the show. All the proceeds benefit The Common Ground Foundation, Donda’s House, Arts Education in Chicago Public Schools, and the Youth Jobs Collaborative.
